Classic Spaghetti and Meatballs

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 oz (1/2 pkg) Mueller's Spaghetti
  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/8 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove garlic, minced or 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 jar (26 to 30 oz) pasta sauce

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In large bowl combine beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, onion, milk, egg, garlic, and pepper.
  3.  Shape into 10 (1-1/2 inch) meat balls.
  4. place meat balls on baking sheet
  5. bake in oven 15 to 20 minuets or until well done.
  6. meanwhile cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  7. Drain and set aside.
  8. in Large skillet heat pasta sauce
  9. add meatballs and simmer until heated through
  10. top spaghetti with meatballs and sauce
  11. top with additional parmesan, if desired
  12. Prep time: 40 min, Bake time: 15-20 min, Serves: 3-4 people.
