Dearest Lamb

As you journey along life’s narrow way take time to feed dearest lamb,
To eat and drink from the greenery and fresh waters, that flow from your shepherd dearest lamb.
Take time to be holy, to hear his voice, as He speaks in the cool of the day,
Lest your Soul become weary, empty and weak, when you are tried and your skies seem so gray.
Take time to be nourished, complete in your shepherd, who holds you up in His hand. (John 10:28-29)
Your good shepherd high and mighty He knows your way so well, He once became, as you are little lamb. (Philippians 2:5-8)
He walked where you now walk
He was tried like you are tried,
Yet, this Lamb knew no sin,
Thus, He is safe, safe to trust, He will be true little lamb...
In glory He shines so very bright, even brighter than the clear morning sun!
For you he gave His life but on the third day rose again.
Paying in full the cost of your sin!
And now you may know The Son.
So come, come, to the house of your shepherd forever to stay dearest lamb,
For He will protect you, His sweet life fully give you, take time to be fed dearest lamb.
Being fed on the things that are not of this world but things of your shepherd above,
For this is the way to a burden so light, resting in your Good Shepherd’s love. (Matthew 11:28-30)
Dearest lamb dearest Lamb so dear to His heart again see the prints in His hands,
Remember He loves you and His way is everlasting abide in Him always-dearest lamb.
For should you believe these words you now read
You can be sure your faith He will see,
Thus He’ll take your hand and your Soul He will faithfully lead,
Dearest Lamb take time to feed.
To feed from your shepherd, from the world being free
Your soul released flying on wings like an eagle as by faith His image you clearly see, (Isaiah 40:31)
Until the day comes that you unite in fullness with your King, dearest lamb take time to feed.
Lo, I am with you always even until the end of the world amen. (Matthew 28:19)
